We only use 100% natural yarn that is turned into a handwoven fabric on a traditional loom operated by a skilled weaver.
The very weft and warp of heritage, traditional weaving is like a family heirloom that is carefully passed down through the generations.
We specialise in the art of creating natural, herbal pigments derived from fruits, vegetables and spices.
A process that involves a great deal of skilful craftsmanship is the creation of wooden blocks that are used to imprint authentic designs.
We print, by stamping wooden blocks onto the cotton fabric, to recreate timeless, classic motifs that celebrate the Indian tradition.
A cycle that runs from block printing (using various colours) to over-dyeing the entire fabric (using a single colour of choice) is a time-consuming process taking up to 14 to 21 days to complete.
DESIGNS & PATTERNS
From concept to completion, every pattern is created to make you feel special without compromising on comfort or utility.
The entire process (including printing) is environment-friendly so much so that the wastewater, collected at the end of the printing process, is safely discharged into the fields for irrigation.
SUSTAINABILITY & FAIR WAGES
We aim to revive an age old tradition and we ensure the rightful upliftment of the bearers of this art and craft.
